Our privacy notice is being finalised.

A lawyer still needs to confirm the controller, the lawful basis, the hosting country, the retention period, and the contact address. Square brackets below are blanks, not hidden answers.

Privacy notice

This notice describes the ClaimPont demand-test website only: the waitlist, the optional questions, and the €79 / €99 interest buttons. It does not describe a claims service, because that service is not open and this page does not collect claim documents.

Who is responsible

Controller: [legal name — to be confirmed]. Address: [postal address — to be confirmed]. Privacy contact: [email address — to be confirmed]. ClaimPont is not, on this page, naming an individual.

What this page collects

  • Your email address, if you join the waitlist and tick consent.
  • Optional answers: who insures the home, whether you have claimed, what would feel fair to pay, a 1–5 score, and what felt hardest. You can skip all of them.
  • If you click €79 or €99, the amount and the time. Your email is stored with that click only when the consent box is ticked and the email is valid.

What this page does not collect

  • No photos, policies, claim letters, or bank details.
  • No card numbers. There is no payment.
  • No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party tracker.
  • Our own store does not keep your IP address or the browser's user agent. The host's ordinary server logs may still exist. [Confirm with the host — to be confirmed.]

Fonts are included in the site when it is built. The published pages do not call Google Fonts, or any other font host, from your browser.

Why, and on what basis

We store the email so we can write when a pilot place opens, and we store the answers and price clicks so we can see whether the service is wanted and at what price. Proposed basis: consent, from the unticked box on the form. [Confirm the basis, and whether a price click without an email is personal data — to be confirmed.]

We do not send the details to an insurer, a broker, or an advertiser. We do not send email from this website. A message about the pilot would be a later, separate step.

Where it is kept

Waitlist and interest entries are stored in private Vercel Blob storage in the EU region cdg1 (Paris). [Subprocessors and transfer details — to be confirmed.]

How long

[Retention period — to be confirmed.] The intention in the draft service wording is to delete claim documents when you ask, or when a claim is closed. This waitlist is a different, smaller set of data. Until a period is fixed, ask us to delete your line and we will remove it from the file we hold.

Your rights

People in France and the wider EEA can usually ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, and a copy, and can complain to the CNIL. [Exact wording, identity checks, and the complaint paragraph — to be confirmed.] There is no automated decision on this page.

Asking for deletion

Write to [privacy contact email — to be confirmed] from the same address you used on the form. Say you want the waitlist entry deleted. We do not yet have an online button for this. [Process — to be confirmed.]

The survey at /survey

  • The survey is short and email is optional. If you do not give an email, we do not ask for your name.
  • We use the answers only for ClaimPont's research into the claims process.
  • If you give an email and tick consent, we use it only to send you the survey results or to arrange a 15-minute chat. We never share or sell it.
  • Answers and emails are stored with Vercel, in Vercel Blob storage in the EU region cdg1 (Paris). [Subprocessors and transfer details — to be confirmed.]
  • We keep survey data for no more than a year. [Retention period — to be confirmed.]
  • To have your answers or email deleted, write to [privacy contact email — to be confirmed], as for the waitlist. If you gave an email, write from that address; if you did not, tell us roughly when you answered.
